Pair of Arne Vodder FD186 chairs made by France and Daverkosen
Vodder was cabinetmaker and architect, he studied under Finn Juhl at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen in the 1960s
These are original pieces with manufacturer stamps from France and Daverkosen later know as France and Son of Denmark.

The wood has been gently restored with hemp oil and buffed with beeswax - bringing out the beautiful grain

During the 1950s to the '70s, Arne Vodder's furniture designs could be found in the White House during President Jimmy Carter's term, the United Nations Offices in Geneva and more recently featured on TV show Mad Men!
